Dr. Davis
Veterinarian
Dr. Davis views the human-animal bond as one of the few things sacred left in the world. Since 2016, he has had the privilege of working alongside pet parents throughout Los Angeles to help protect this bond. He firmly believes in a type of relationship-driven medicine where communication with his clients is the cornerstone of care. Throughout his years in practice, Dr. Davis has seen the challenges faced by today’s veterinary professionals and is convinced that new models and creative forces are needed. It would be an understatement to say that he is very excited to join PriVET Pet Care with this charge in mind and looks forward to the next chapter in his career.
Born and raised on the east coast, Dr. Davis spent over a decade working as a graphic artist in Hollywood, before a newfound love for animal rescue led him back to school in pursuit of a new career. After graduating from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016, Dr. Davis has practiced at small animal clinics in the South Bay and is currently living in San Pedro with his partner, Christine; their daughter, Sage; a big-headed mutt named Bernie and three jaded cats that have observed countless kittens, puppies, lizards, birds and even a red fox being rehabilitated in their home from the safety of their cat tower perches.

Christian G
Veterinary Technician
Hello there, my name is Christian Gonzalez. I am part of the PriVET Pet Care a 911 VETS®️ Company team. I have been in the veterinary field since 2019. My love for animals has started since I was very young and glad to help our furry little friends. As my goal is to help heal your pet, it is also to teach to help you understand why your pet is getting treated. This includes helping people gain a little more knowledge in case their pets get in the same situation. I am glad to be part of this team and ready to help your pet.

Jamie

Jamie was born and raised in Gaithersburg, Maryland. With her love of learning and of animals she began her career in 2002 as a kennel assistant. Because of her enthusiasm, drive and ability to grasp new concepts, Jamie was swiftly moved into a veterinary technician role that also included team management, inventory management and various leadership responsibilities. Jamie is passionate about learning, organization and leadership. Over her career she has gained experience working in a variety of general practices, emergency and specialty centers and with various exotic animals. She has always been fascinated by the constantly changing industry and faces challenges with a positive outlook. One of her favorite roles in veterinary medicine has been inventory management.
In 2017, Jamie decided she wanted to pursue a career path that would leverage her 18 years of Animal Health industry experience. She began her journey to pursue an MBA through Strayer University, which she hopes to obtain by 2023. In addition, after a three-year commitment, Jamie’s obtained her Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) certification in January 2021. Over the years Jamie has a variety of pets ranging from bearded dragons, iguanas, fish, to her four beloved feline companions, whom will be remembered always. Her biggest love is her 15-year-old Siberian Husky, “Akane”. “Akane” has been with Jamie for almost her whole career and serves as a loving reminder of why Jamie chose this field. Personally, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, traveling, a variety of crafts and spending time with her family.
Dispatch

Monica G.
Lead Dispatcher
Originally from Maryland, I have been a California resident for 8 years. My love of animals started at an early age, my family always had a variety of animals that we rescued and placed in new homes. I attended the University of Maryland and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences. I have worked in the veterinary field for over 15 years, including running my own pet sitting company for 5 years in Washington D.C. My goal at PriVET Pet Care, formerly 911Vets, is to provide the best concierge services for our clients and patients. I enjoy spending my free time with my two one-eyed chihuahuas, Tiny and Foxy at the dog beach or snuggling with my cat Millie.

Caroline
Dispatcher
Caroline has had a love for animals and a passion for caring for them all her life, so she was ecstatic when she was given the opportunity to join the Veterinary field in 2015. With a hunger to learn new information, she worked hard to pick the brains of the skilled Doctors around her and expand her knowledge of the Veterinary world so she could help relay to pet parents the best ways they could care for their fur-babies.
Caroline enjoys taking on new tasks, challenges, and pushing herself to learn new things. In her free time she enjoys spending time rollerskating, woodworking, writing, taking care of plants and yoga. She finds it so rewarding to work alongside people who are all in this field for the same reason, to go above and beyond to love and care for animals that need our help. She is excited to assist you with any of your petcare needs.

Testimonials
In Loving Memory of Dr. Steve Weinberg
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our friend, colleague and CEO Dr. Steve Weinberg. We extend our most heartfelt condolences and sympathy to Steve’s family. Our thoughts are with them at this most difficult time.

Dr. Steve Weinberg worked as a veterinarian in California from 1985 until the start of 2022, specializing primarily as a house call veterinarian. He successfully built clientele in both San Francisco and Los Angeles over the years. Steve saw that human medicine had long established home nursing care, outpatient diagnostics, reliable emergency care and hospital transport services but noticed a void in veterinary medicine for these services. So, he sold his brick and mortar and carved out his niche to become a full-time mobile provider of pet care in the greater Los Angeles area. Along the way he developed the organization originally known as 911 Vets to provide his unique approach of in-home care. Steve referred to his clientele as pet guardians and felt he was partnering with them when it came to their family pet’s care. In 2021, he brought in a partner to assist with furthering his vision and rebranding the company and thus was born PriVET Pet Care.
As some of you may know, Steve was diagnosed with cancer in November 2020 and was simply unable to keep up what was an extremely valiant fight against the disease, which took his life on January 19th 2022. The dedicated team of professionals he helped to develop are proud to carry on his legacy as the practice continues to expand. We will forever remember Steve’s passion for people and animals, as well as his love of music. His kind heart and compassion will continue to live on in our company.
