Emergency Transport
PriVET Pet Care has safely transported hundreds of injured and ill animals to care facilities across Los Angeles and Orange County with our as-needed emergency transport service.
Our emergency service vehicles include advanced technology and tools that help us safely transport your pet to the nearest animal hospital and are staffed with licensed house call veterinarians as well as skilled technicians who are committed to providing the utmost care for your pet in this circumstance. We will determine during a house call visit if an emergency transport is necessary for your situation.
If your pet has been critically injured, we suggest carefully wrapping them in a blanket to avoid reactive biting and then immediately taking them to the nearest animal hospital. If you are unable to do so, we are just a phone call away and will thoroughly evaluate your pet’s symptoms before moving them into one of our mobile veterinary units for transport. In many cases, our expert Providers can handle the medical situation right in your home. If not, we can safely transport them to the nearest animal care center for you.

Our Emergency Transport Services
PET TRANSPORT WITH OXYGEN THERAPY
If your pet is exhibiting signs of respiratory shock or distress while en route to the animal hospital, we can safely regulate oxygen therapy to improve their chances.
Additional personnel may be required to assist the veterinarian or primary technician due to oxygen administration or when handling oversized pets and the pet guardian is not available to help.
PET TRANSPORT WITH SEDATION
If our veterinarian and technician professionals determine your pet is suffering from extreme discomfort, severe anxiety or typically loses all fluids and solids during car travel, we can expertly administer injectable sedatives prior to transport for a more pleasant and untroubled ride.
DAYTIME PET EMERGENCY HOUSE CALLS
Our certified veterinarians recognize how challenging it can be to transport your pet, particularly during an emergency. If you see that your pet is having difficulty breathing, becomes unconscious, or eats something harmful, request a daytime emergency house call by reaching out to PriVET Pet Care. We’ll start with a phone consultation in order to assess the situation to the best of our ability. If we are available and able to move routine appointments, we will make every attempt to accommodate you and your beloved pet.
We are continuing to expand our service in an effort to better serve more pets in need. At this moment, our pet emergency house call service is not available everywhere at all times. Please call during our business hours for more details.
